
Content company NEWZ’s education specialized TikTok MCN Majors Network(hereinafter referred to as “Majors”) announced on the 12th of April. that it has signed memorandum of understanding(MOU) to promote K-content exchange with China specialized MCN adoba.
Majors is an official partner MCN of the short form video platform, TikTok. Various experts like Jang Dongsun(brain scientist), Jung Jihoon(futurist), Korean Hoon(has 2.1 million TikTok followers), Lee Shinhye(one of the top 100 female FinTech leaders in the world), and Yoon Yeokyung(a leading novelist in Korea) all belong to Majors. It also cooperated with The Ministry of SMEs and Startups, LG Uplus, and Seoul Business Agency and has secured approximately 90 creators and 100 million views on TikTok by using the #Majors hashtag.
adoba has paved Creators’ path to Chinese video platforms, the only market that Youtue could not enter, by removing barriers like channel opening, authentication, monetization and so much more. As a certified partner MCN of major Chinese video platforms, it operates international channels on 9 different platforms including Douyin, Xigua Video, bilibili and Weibo. As of April 2021, it is the largest foreign MCN in China and is collaobrating with individual creators, domestic and foreign MCNs, and government agencies.
It is known that both companies have signed the an to promote content exchange between Korea and China. adoba will act as a bridge for domestic experts belonging to Majors to advance into China as knowledge creators. YouTube creators from adoba will advance to TikTok through Majors. It is an aspiration to provide high-quality content to the Korean-Chinese MZ generation and to increase the online infrastructure for creators.
